The North Branch Library has held a central place in the life of its community.
Since it opened in 1957, two generations have listened to storytimes, done
research for school assignments, checked out novels, and searched the Internet
for colleges and jobs.
Retired patrons keep up with daily newspapers, travelers
get books on tape for their journey, and families read together in a place
that is, for many, a home away from home. |
